OUR POLICIES

OUR CONTRACT

A signed contract is required at the time a deposit is placed on a kitten. This agreement is to assure the health and general welfare of the kitten being placed and also includes a one-year health guarantee. Our kittens are not to be declawed. For more information on declawing and why we do not allow it, click on the following link: http://www.declawing.com/

PRICING

Our kittens are priced at $1200. Occasionally a kitten can be found falling under or over this price range depending on several factors. Health and character are always of the utmost importance to us. Our kittens are spayed / neutered prior to placement in their new homes and have had all age appropriate vaccinations. A small non-refundable deposit will hold a kitten until they're ready to go to their new home at 12-16 weeks.

EARLY SPAY / NEUTER

Our kittens are spayed or neutered before they leave for their new homes. This benefits both the kittens and the new owners. The pain of spaying / neutering is significantly less in kittens that have had the procedure performed early and sometimes even appears to be nonexistent. The healing process is also much quicker when done at an earlier age. Females get one single stitch while the males need none at all. Altered kittens can be placed in their new homes and start the bonding process with their new families without having separation / surgical anxieties.

Studies were conducted on the benefits or drawbacks of early spay / neuter by the University of Florida. These studies were funded by the Winn Feline Foundation in conjunction with the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). These extensive studies were monitored closely and concluded that spaying or neutering of an animal before it has reached sexual maturity has no known ill side effects. On the contrary, research has founded that early spaying or neutering of your pet can aid in the recovery process giving your pet a speedy and virtually painless recovery, as stated above. These studies were conducted on animals ranging from 7 weeks of age to 12 months of age. Those 7 weeks of age did not react any differently than those who were 12 months of age.
